Staying Connected During Social Distancing

Now more than ever as the pandemic becomes a part of our daily lives and we are physically distanced from our loved ones, it’s important to find ways to connect with the people that support us, love us, and make us laugh.

Even though I’m an introvert, I’ve realized now more than ever that I need SOME connection with my friends and family. It’s important to determine what level of connection is best for you and how to do it safely. If you feel it’s important to see friends, find ways of doing it in safe ways. Right now, technology is our friend. Zoom has probably been the most used app on my phone since the pandemic began. If you are uncomfortable seeing friends in person, schedule a zoom or Face time date with friends and family to stay connected.

Staying connected with your support system is a great way to stay mentally healthy during this strange and uncertain time.

Reach out anytime, stay well and healthy.
